I知 posting this so people that were wondering like myself was if bigger front tires would fit on an X500. I recently bought a used X500 with 426hrs on it because i sold my Kubota BX that i used to mow with. I have a fairly steep bank i mow and have to traverse sideways on it so i wanted a tractor with diff lock. I got a good deal on the X500 $2250.00 so thats the route i went. The stock turfs didn稚 work at all so i purchased some r1 tires on ebay and installed them. Tires are OTR lawn tracs rear size 24x12-12 stock size loaded with 8.5 gallons of washer fluid and fronts are OTR lawn tracs in 16x7.5-8. The fronts are 1 wider than stock and they DO rub pn the steering arms a tad. Not enough it hinders me in anyway but they will rub at full lock. It handles my bank like a mountain goat now and couldn稚 be happier with how it mows now. Attached are before and after photos
