Rake XB rake w/ other guage wheels?

Been calling around for a landscape/yard rake of KK XB size. Honestly, it won't get a ton of use, but I hate buying crap. I'm thinking from what I've read of other's experiences that the KK XB rake would be OK, but despite KK's literature, my TSC told me there weren't optional guage wheels (by KK) to be had. Has anyone mounted any other manufacturer's wheels on their KK XB rake?

I have Howse wheels on my rake and I don't see why they couldn't be adapted to other brands. Go to the Northern Tool web site and look at the picture. I feel that the Howse landscape rake is a good buy and works well with my BX22. I have no regrets with it except for having to get off the tractor to turn it side to side. That is going to be one of my other projects this year..... make that thing a hydraulically turning unit... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks Junkman, I figured it was probably no big deal but was just curious if anyone had done it. Too bad that KK doesn't even make (so far) the guage wheels they say are available.
