yep, definitely agree it needs a power source. I tied into an extra plug on top of the rear end to run a two wire connection for my 15 gal electric sprayer, but I can see where another one like you're talking about would be great. I have one on my ATV and it comes in handy

Yeah my LS has unused plugs all over it. I wonder at them sometimes, what they were intended for, what I could use them for, etc.

For a long time I assumed they all were for options/upgrades. But there's so many of them, now I suspect they use the same wiring harness for every single tractor. It's probably cheaper to set up for a single assembly line and end up paying for unused plugs and wires, than it would be to set up multiple assembly lines. Those unused plugs might be for equipment that doesn't exist on this tractor, and there might be an unused plug just under the dash panel for a cigarette lighter outlet that doesn't exist either. Now wouldn't that be handy!
