Xj2025h slip clutch

   / Xj2025h slip clutch #11
You can take that plastic guard off the shaft to see a bit better. When you trim the shaft, make sure you trim both ends. The yokes could almost be touching, so long as the two halves dont bind when raising the implement. Typically, the shaft is at its longest point when the 3-pt is all the way down, shortest when the shaft is level. What would concern me more, is the clearance just in front of the gear box, look like the frame for the top link. You might have some interference there. Also, the slip clutch I linked above is 12in long, which means your yokes, judging by the photos, will be overlapping... not possible. So, here is what I would do:

The cheap, no worries way is to forget the slip clutch and get used to changing sheer bolts. Run it the way it is and live with it. OR

Take some measurements for clearance where the slip clutch would go, just in front of the gear box.
Install 3-pt "extensions"! Like the Pats Easy Change system, Pat's Easy Change System - TractorByNet.com Store, you will get about 4 more inches of clearance. OR make some modifications to the pins on the chipper to push is further away from the tractor. You probably only need a few inches. I'd install the Pats, but that's me. You wont be lifting anything too heavy with your chipper, so its not a huge deal to push it just a tad further back.

There maybe other extensions out there, but I like the Pats for its easy hook up to 3pt implements.
