XR4150 Loader Joystick Sticking

Joystick control on my XR4150 was sticking when I raised the loader up. If I forgot to return it, it would continue to rise. I took the covers off and greased the plungers as good as I could, hoping that would work. Now, it is sticking in both the up and down directions. It seems that I made it worse. Tilt and curl return to center immediately when the lever is released. This is a cable connection to the actual valve. Any suggestions?

You probably need a new cable.

I had to lube mine and use it. It went back to ok about a week later.
