Yahoo !!! Gas crisis Over

We have one crowded gas station now selling 87 octane for $165.9. This is the first time since before Katrina that we have seen prices this low. Now, if only diesel will come down.

Schools were not the greatest IMHO. They tax your vehicles I know to make up for taxes. We lived there 3 years. We lived in Randolf County. Randolf had the lowest crime rate of any county in the nation at the time.
I do have to say the people there impressed me the most. When you need something or help a neighbor was there.

I live across the Ohio River from W.Va.
I just buzz across the I77 bridge and I'm in W.Va.
W.Va. has been my next door neighbor all my life.

Then you're probably within 15 miles of one of my wife's brothers. That one lives close to the north border while the rest of the family lives near the south border of WV.

I have driven that way quite often driving between WV and Wisconsin. Beautiful county through there too.

87 here dropped to $2.17, On-road diesel is $3.17

You're not too far from the Hocking Hills State Park, then, are you? We were over that way last summer on the way back from D.C. Nice area.

I can't remember 87 being $1.65!!!

It's only been about 4 years, Dan.

On 12/16/2004, I paid $1.629
On 9/14/2004, I paid $1.649

And then from the end of April, 2004, backwards in time, it was cheaper than $1.65.

Diesel was 2.99 end of last week. I needed fuel but figured I could wait until Monday to fill up. The price for diesel has been dropping about 10 cents a gallon per week. Monday it was 2.89! Woo Hoo! Bought 37 gallons. 32 for the F350 and 5 for the tractor. Save $3.70.

Gas was 2.20ish. Figure in a week or two the price will drop below $2 a gallon.

Diesel price year ago was 2.85ish a gallon.
