Y'all's opinion on some truck choices

Someone might have mentioned this already, but.... I'm not sure you'd see $46k on a trade-in unless you overpay on the new one you might be buyin.

Got 45k for it. Bought a '13 f250 lariat. My wife and boy are sitting in it for the pic. First thing I did was take off the factory running boards.

You initially said the Dodge cabs were "small and cheap." Please explain. I've always been a GM man, but I've been thinking about buying an older Dodge with the Cummins for a work truck. I'm a pretty large man, and I've never even been in a Dodge. Thoughts?

I've been looking at diesels again and wow they are getting (or at least asking) more than what I sold my last one for 5 years ago for the same model but with more miles!

Still hoping to find an '05-06 Ram 2500 5.9 6 speed with decent miles...

They are basically an extended cab but 4 doors. Very small in the back and in my 06 along with everyone I have see the drivers seat wears the foam completely out so your sitting on the bar. I'm 5'10" and had plenty of head room. The 05 interiors are more comfortable to me.

Lol...me either. Just kind of happened I guess. Already ordered a new b&w and airbags. Weathertechs are next

I had a 2005 and 2006, I don't recall the cab size being different in the quad cabs. Just the dash.

Kids fit fine in the rear, adults can be tight if they are tall. The posture is straight up also.

A Mega cab will give you a lot more room

Its possible to find one, but you had better be willing to travel. It would be easier if you didn't limit it to 6 speeds. The 6 speeds also seem to bring a premimum.

No. Can sizes were the same from 03-09. Two options. Quad cab or reg cab. '10 and up offered crew cab and reg cab. Crew cab has similar rear seat leg room as the mega except the rear seats done recline back.

The dash and seat change was in 06. Also, in 06 you could use the Jacobs exhaust brake with the 48re where as before it was only available on the standards. G56, nv5600

Yes they do. 200k miles and $20-25k at least. There was a nice one down here (Houston) that had a new motor and was a 6 speed for 19k iirc
