have you tried running it with the fuel cap removed?

Sounds like an injector issue or something. With no filter on it theres a good chance they have trash in them!!

You need to put the 3pt lever all the way down and that knob under the seat needs to be opened up, it will point which direction this is but is just a "righty, loosy" knob. It almost sounds as if the pump could be deadheading as well causing you to stall out. Its not the fluid right now, so dont go change it just yet.

you guys know how to get a man fired up !!! I come home in a rush went straight to my tractor and started taking injectors out. I thought it was going to be difficult with all the post I've read but this was so easy , once i took top bracket off they both lifted out with pinky and forefinger ... just slide out . the one on left was wet and the seal in bottom did not come out with it but the one on right was carboned and dry and the seal on bottom was loose. I reattached injectors to lines and turned it over and they sprayed but it was not like a funnel pattern it was a strong straight shot that left a wet spot on cardboard . I am not familiar with the correct pattern so I would be guessing . I was going to do a compression test but the diesel compression tester did not have the right fittings to fit in slots ,I will research for some fitting that will seal off cylinder. I haven't give up yet, thanks for suggestions

I replaced the (apparently original) injectors on my YM240, same age tractor as yours. They were carboned in so bad that I destroyed several improvised pullers getting them out, and they fought every inch of the way. If your injectors came out that easy and they squirt funny - I suspect somebody was in there before you. Take the injectors to a truck (or farm) injector specialty shop to test and see if they meet spec. The shop should have those lower seals on hand but might have to order injectors if they can't rebuild yours.

I agree ... I'm suspecting something with injectors as well , it was just to easy. I didn't notice the copper gaskets and seals that I think should have been there. I am also ordering a compression fitting from hoye tomorrow to test compression while I have it apart.

Assuming your YM1300 works the same as YM2000 ... The only thing beneath the injectors is a thin, broad, round neoprene 'insulator' separating the injector from the lower components (which do have copper washers). The 'insulator' should be replaced but the lower chambers will be undisturbed by pulling the injectors.

Here's the old thread I posted when I replaced the injectors. There are a couple of photos, a diagram of the injector internals, and a comment from Aaron (Hoye) describing how they destroyed badly stuck injectors trying various alternatives in the process of inventing their new Injector Removal Tool.
