I am looking at a Yanmar 2210D out of a dealer in Canton Missouri. It will be used on my 5 acres of woods to rough mow, landscape, move stuff around, gather firewood, etc.
What are your opinions? How hard is it to add ROPS to this tractor?
Thanks in advance

Nice tractor, depending on the condition, hours and maintenance history should handle 5 acres and all the tasks you listed.

Adding ROPS may prove to be a problem. I know of no "off the shelf" ROPS that fit your tractor. You may have to buy a similar size tractor ROPS - (like John Deere?) and adapt a cross member with diagonal supports to prevent a roll over.

Welcome to TBN and good luck, Mark

Also liquid in the tires helps a lot too

Hi Tango!
Did you get that 2210 yet? I have the 2220D, almost the same, it'll do all your chores and then some easily. My dealer put a "light bar" on made from 2x3" tubing (same as ROPS), very sturdy, even folding. They just don't want to call it ROPS, for liability reasons.

Good luck!

ROPS are available for that tractor. If you buy it and are still interested in ROPS drop me an email.

Thanks,
Bruce
