Yanmar YFL1000 vs Yanmar YFL1075

If I recall, there were only 2 types of keys for the YM Series. The Tree Frog type and the Red Apple type. And sometimes they would over lap depending on how the machines transitioned.

The Read Apple tractor keys were also the John Deere 50 Series keys. Note the icon brand details. I use either to start my machine.

That is super strange, I kept hitting reply on the key posting, but nothing even quoted it.

Nice key! It matches mine, yet has the plastic overmolded top.

Tractor was a find and knew it. 2/08 I left a Chk. with Steve@ Spalding until I could get back with a trailer. Fredrick's supplied and Left it alone in Org. condition. I still laugh to the day when I asked where he got it? He mumbled something and not much doubt didn't want to say. LOL...........
The key has a bend in it and not much doubt it was in the Ign. were it bent. How it didn't break?

Not long after buying it and cleaning it up. The White of the wheels I can tell I painted in Fred. Refurb. white. Picked it up with a Tiller.

With the new Chinese ignition sets, the various manufacturers don't seem to utilize the same key pattern. Hopefully this weekend there is sufficient time to work on the tractor.
