I'm about 25 miles south of Louisville Kentucky. A suburb of Louisville, Jeffersontown, was recently the site of a road rage incident where an ex cop and another man had words over which one had the right-of-way to exit a parking lot. They threatened each other, and the ex cop started shoooting. The victim is severly brain damaged, paralized, and on life support a week and a half later. He was shot 6 times in the head and upper chest at close range.
It can happen just that quick.
Is it worth all of that just to be the first one out of the parking lot? Wouldn't it be OK to just let it go? Do you suppose either one of these guys needed to be ahead of the other bad enough to ruin all the lives that are now ruined? Is it so important to prove who's right or wrong that you have to shoot someone? Or GET SHOT?
Discretion is the better part of valor.
Not doing something stupid that'll destroy your life and your family is the better part of acting like you have half a brain.
