No, I just did the search back in the archives and found what I was looking for - The letter in the serial number designates what year it was made, at least on the 4110's. My serial number is 411 U03 0043. The U designates 2001 and if I remember correctly the 03 designates March. The 0043 is the actual production number. A "V" would be 2002, "W" would be 2003 and so on. I don't know what they did after "Z" or whether the other Mahindra models follow this method. This is similar to automotive VIN numbering so I would guess they might start back at "A" or perhaps go to a number designation for that particular digit in the serial number.
