Mahindra 5145 Hydraulic Fluid Return Port

I am mounting an auxiliary, two spool, control valve on my Mahindra 5145. It is an open center system. I have to run a hose from the "t" port on the auxiliary valve to the fluid reservoir, which is the transmission/differential housing, on the tractor. I have looked more than once and can not find a plug or anything similar to connect to.
Can anyone tell me where I can attach the hose to the transmission/differential housing to return the fluid on the 5145 Mahindra?

Can you follow the Tank line of the loader valve and Tee the new line to that line? Might be another option.

This is the only plug I can find. I am pretty sure it opens into the differential housing.

That could be it indeed. Accordingly to the parts catalog, it's just a plug (#15) and not some sort of valve. Looks like the threads are M22x1.5.

Well, as it turned out, I was called away from my tractor today. Maybe tomorrow.

As I said I was pulled away. I am back now. PTSG, I have taken the plug out. Now I have to find a fitting that will screw into that hole and seal with an 'O' ring. I would like to have a JIC male fitting that will screw in.

Here is a male 1/2" JIC to male M22x1.5 adapter, no seal so you would need an o-ring or a dowty washer. 9067-08-22 | 1/2" JIC Male x M22x1.5 Metric Male

And the same fitting but with a built in seal on the metric side, also slightly cheaper: 9068-08-22 | 1/2" JIC Male x M22x1.5 Metric Male w/ seal

You may want to still pull out the plug and measure the OD to make sure it's M22x1.5, because the parts catalog could be incorrect.

It is M22 x 1.5 threads. The local hydraulic company could order what I wanted. I wanted it to be M22 x 1.5 to JIC male at a 45 degree angle. He said it would have to be two pieces in order for me to be able to have the hose end in the direction I needed and nothing leak.

That's correct. Open loop and open center system.
