YES, a folding BX2200 ROPS is coming!

I think this is ok to post here, since they are a sponsor. I saw one of the popups here for Homestead Tractor ROPS (wouldn't you know it, now the ad is not showing!)

I emailed to ask if they offered a folding ROPS for the BX2200 and this is the answer I received:

We do not yet have the ROPS in stock. We anticipate that they will be here within a couple of months. When we get them, the price will be $490.00 to $650.00 depending on which tractor you have, plus tax for California residents, and plus shipping. We have put your name on a list and will notify you when they come in. At that time, we will ask for your shipping address and will give you the total price.

That price is a little steeper than I would like, but to be able to put my Bota in the garage while on the trailer, I will probably spend the money...................

Would an OEM BX22 ROPS fit a BX2200? The bolt and distance pattern isn't the same?

I've been told and believe it to be true that the BX22 has part of the ROPS lower, or attaches differently than the 2200. I think the BX22 has a cross piece between the mounting plates, which the 2200 does not.

if you can weld you can buy folding rops brackets for about $150. I guess this would cover any liability issues since its being purchased elsewhere, any failure would be the responsibility of the company that you bought it from.

The 8 bolts holding the ROPS are in the same pattern between the 22/23 and 2200/2230. The 22/23 have the BH subframe also attached in this neighborhood (this is the crossbar mentioned earlier). Yes, one will bolt onto the other, but, the 22/23 is more reenforced due to the BH bracketry.

I've looked at both parked side by side and measured. It wil work - Liability is the limit.
