Draw bar---banded from house!
My wife picked me up a new draw bar at the fair the other night, and I brought it into the house when we got home and that was my first mistake:confused3: In the morrning I was in a rush to get somethings done outside ,when I leaned the bar up against a chair in the bathroom and walked out leaving it there mistake no. 2:mur: While out door I heard my wife yell and I do mean yell . She had gone into the bathroom and without seeing it up against the chair, knocked it over onto her bare foot  When I came in she took it better then I would have ,but her toes turned a nice shade of purple:ashamed:She asked me what have you learned? Keep tractor stuff outside ,She said don't bring it in the house again ,my reply was " YES DEAR"

I suspect that will cost you for several weeks ...... at least until the boss's foot returns somewhere near normal.

And you ought to be on the alert as to where she might put that foot when it heals.:)

Good thing it didn't go from her foot into the toilet.

The toilet would have shattered!

Then, if you had a wife with a purple foot in a flooded bathroom without a toilet ...

I may bring some things in the house, but I don't take them into THE room. ;)

I think it's started, she called from school (teacher) and asked me to start a load of wash, couldn't say no.
YES DEAR
is all I could say.:ashamed: She came home and I tryed the neck rub to relax her ,shes a good girl!! foot is all purple even between her toes . I'm going to cook tonight and do some house work for her, maybe even run a load though the dishwasher .:confused2:
I've been looking at a Norse 3500 winch for awhile and was going to stop in to see about it but maybe I'll wait a day or so. It might not be a bad thing huh?:D

i have had a few tractor things in the house, the biggest was my middle buster/subsoiler/trailer mover combo which was for christmas. Yesterday i brought my new telescopic lower links inside for the night to keep them clean and so i wouldnt forget them when i went back to my moms. As long as i keep it behind the door or near the bar table, it is just fine.

I one time washed some traqctor parts in the dishwasher...

that was a real no-no I found out.. wife had a coniption fit.

she also saw me checking a thermostat in a pot of water too.. she didn't believe me when i explained what I was doing... she refused to use the pot again.. so now it's in the shop full of nuts and bolts.. :) I think she made up some new words that day...

I had to fix the tv once. Took it apart fixed the short and put it back together (almost) I forgot two screws. A year later the wife decided to rearrange the furniture and picked up the tv. The front screen section fell right off and shattered her big toe. Be glad your wife only bruised her toes. I couldn't say anything but YES DEAR for about a year. :)7

Why is the oven on ?
I'm heating something.
What ?
The outer part.

What's this in the freezer ?
The inner part.
Why ?
I need to put them together.
You can't put them together when one is in the oven and the other one is in the freezer. What are you, Stupid ?

YES DEAR.

To the OP ... most folks read magazines and newspapers in the outhouse ... just what was ya readin on the drawbar in the bathroom?

Now.. maybe I'm just backward, but I think it's her fault for getting it for you in the first place. If she'd let you get it, in your own time, it's unlikely it ever would have come in the house in the first place.

To begin with, it would have laid in the back of the truck for at least a month, until you really needed it. By then, you would have forgotten where it was, and since she wasn't there when you got it, she'd have been no help finding it.

After a couple days of head scratchin', you'd go back to get another one, and when you brought the second one out to put it in the back of the truck... see where I'm going with this?

So, after this, you'd have had two drawbars, not one, and the wife's toe would be fine.

Like I said, it's clearly her fault..

Yes, I AM married.. for the second and last time God willing..

Just a word from an old-timer married 42+ years. You may think she's wrong or at fault, but don't make too much of a habit of saying so.;)
