Thanks Peter :) That is better than an explanation I might give...

Great video.

Wife has cleared the upgrade--time to get into serious negotiations with the dealer :D

Amen. I'm trying to get my wife to clear upgrade from B7610 to B3030 :)

That video was great. If I only wanted to raise the 3pt half up I could hold the lever back until it gets to where I want and then return the lever to center to stop? Is it like a loader style valve?

I would agree with Chuck to consider the B2630 or the B7800. You should get a better deal then $18K on a weathered and not-so-popular B2630. No wonder it has been sitting on the lot a long time.

I am happy with my B7800 and the 30HP 4 cylinder :)

I recently went through a similar purchase decision. In fact, I almost bought a B7610, but it got sold before I commited. I consider that good karma because I'm now the owner of a B7800. I test drove both the B2920 and B7800 and found a huge difference and came down solidly on the B7800. Mine has the 72" MMM and I like it alot. The ground contact is not an issue for me and the quality of cut is very good. Plus, it has the power to cut long grass and weeds (not mowed soon enough) and it still cuts well. I mow with the chute to the inside, which continuously moves the clippings toward the center of the lawn. When finished, if the clippings have piled up, I rake them into the FEL and dump them on the compost pile. Yes, I mow with the FEL attached. It's a challenge sometimes, but so far it works for me.

See my previous post comparing the 2920 and 7800 here http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/kubota-buying-pricing/120098-ive-made-my-decision.html

Happy shopping. I'm a big fan of the B7800 and firmly believe you will become one too.

Chuck
