We did all kinds of things with our yellow lab. She just whinned and yelped the night through. Put one of them stupid dog beds at the foot of our bed on the floor and she hasn't whinned on bit. Every night that is where she sleeps or right in the bed with me until the wife comes in and then she runs to her bed. Labs just have to be where the action is/people
