Refrigerator started to die the other day, so off to the appliance store for a new one. Garage floor outside the back door is about 3' lower than the main floor in the house. Wheeled the old unit out on to the entry platform, set the bucket flush, wheeled it into the bucket, strapped it tight, and effortlessly brought it down to the garage level. Reverse procedure with the new unit, never lifted a thing! Got to love hydraulics!!

Anyone on the fence about getting a FEL with their new tractor purchase, just get it if you can afford it. 330 hours and still finding new uses all the time.

I've been out int he field an dneeded to move a trailer.. and didn't feel like hitching to it.. Found I can curl the bucket and get one of the teeth of the tooth bar into the ball socket ont he trailer. then lift and go and steer it wherever i want to... Nice trailer tender.. etc.

Back in my younger days, I loved to deer hunt. A loader is without a doubt the best place to string up a deer for butchering.

Nowdays, you couldn't lift enough money with a loader to get me in a tree before daylight to shoot at one.

Hi Brad,
They are by far the best thing going since buttered bread :) After youve had one for awhile you will wonder how you ever managed without it :)

Anyone with any amount of property , that plans on doing anything with it, the FEL is a must have !!!

yep -- sorta like this .... 1957 GE fridge going in to a 1971 mobile home parked in the woods -- that old fridge is mighty heavy -- and that door is about 4 ft off the ground --

After buying the farm I immediately wanted to buy a tractor, but the wife and I agreed that everything but the essentals would have to wait. Only difference was our definition of essentials. I thought the tractor was essential and she thought we should wait fo a few more months. Convinced her that what a 150 year farm needed was an antique safe and they could be acquired for next to nothing. Bought the safe and had it loaded in the back of the pickup truck. A couple of days later the wife wanted some stuff hauled in the truck, but the safe was back there and weighing several hundred pounds we could not get it out. I told her that when we eventually buy a tractor with a FEL it would be easy to remove. She sent me to the tractor dealer that weekend ...

Guess I should have thought about how I would remove that safe before I bought it ...

I also recently moved a refridgerator that broke with the FEL. Thought if I posted such a thing everyone would laugh at me! But guess I'm not the only one.

I built a saltbox shed for the garden tools last year during the rainy season. Assembled the wall frames on the garage floor.
Then used the B7510HST with LA302 to get the wall sections to the job site and positioned on the floor for nailing.
Worked out fine.

3720 Owner,
Guess I should have thought about how I would remove that safe before I bought it ...

Sounds to me you already did...very clever...:)

I agree! I can't believe all the uses I find for the tractor and FEL - here's a shot of me loading an old dead, heavy riding lawn mower into the truck. The transmission was frozen (wouldn't roll any more) and the front suspension was broken (each front wheel aimed in a different direction). The L2800 made it easy to get rid of and free up the space in the shed!
