Yikes! Is it Winter where you are?

It's been clear and 58 here today. Winter is coming back tomorrow, the high will be 37 and windy.

Can't complain,I work for the highway dept. in the winter,so far been getting plenty of hours. Had to shovel the roof a couple of times. Need a chance to get the sleds ready. Trails are suppose to be good up around Ossipee. plowking

It is 10 degrees now and they are saying it will be around 3 below in the morning with wind chills of -24 tommorrow, high around 3 above.

Supposed to hit a low of 10deg here in parts of South Carolina on Friday morning. I guess up there where you guys are it will prolly be about 10 below or somewhere close to that! I might have to run out and crank up my tractor and ride around a lap or two just to see what it feels like, and see what you guys have to put up with. LOL. Maybe it won't crank???

Just a few degrees above zero now in Etna, should be around -10 tomorrow AM-- but it sounds like Thursday night & Friday will be even colder!

-3 for the Kansas City metro area tonight. Calling for a high of 7 for tomorrow. End of the weekend supposed to be highs in the upper 40s.

Yeah, we got winter. System snow dumped nearly a foot over the past day or so (two systems). Lake effect kicks in again tonight for another foot. Should be an interesting morning with a lot of snow and sub-zero temps. I'd like to get some pictures of it all but it's dark when I leave in the morning and dark when I get home. Ah, winter in Michiana! As I mentioned in another thread, the amusing thing is that any evidence of all this will be long gone come June.

Yeah, winter is here in scenic and lovely Ashburnham, Mass...which is fine with me - I actually enjoy the snow and the cold although the old body doesn't handle it quite as well as it used to.......Spent a few years up above the Arctic Circle in Alaska and it would get seriously cold up there, now I look at winter as a legitimate excuse to mess with all kinds of different things with engines on them......

It's cold here this morning

I like the cold and snow so long as I am properly dressed for it. I shoveled the snow off my wood shed roof yesterday afternoon while it was -20C. I got so hot I had to take my down jacket and hat off.
