YM1500 3pt Hydraulic Valve Assy

A buddy of mine is having trouble with the 3pt hydraulic valve assembly on his YM1500D. He says that the "shuttle valve" doesn't move freely in the housing and causes the 3pt to act unpridictably. He has polished the housing and the "shuttle" with very fine crocus cloth, but still cannot get it to work properly.

Does anyone have access to a parts manual that could post the page with these parts so we can identify what he needs? Also, anyone have good 3pt control parts for a YM1500?

The part looks like a copper washer. I have shelves filled with yanmar parts like that. We bought out a yanmar dealer in another town years ago, St. Helens tractor.
Anyway I will go through it & look for the part.

We do not have the part, but it definetely is a copper washer
because I found other part #s close to it & thats what they were too.
Try Leonard Sheaffer, 1-815-284-3226 He probably can get one.

There seems to be a major misunderstanding. The part I need is the valve that sits just under the seat. On the page you faxed labeled 18, it is item labeled #1 - this is an assembly consisting of parts labeled 2-26. I think this is the main 3pt hydraulic control valve.

No problem, but I still need the part number for item #1 at the bottom of the attached scan (thanks Ernie!) of the parts diagram for the YM1500/YM1500D.

Can anybody provide the part number and even the part?
