sandfarmer,
This may not help with your primary problem of starting the tractor, but I happened to replace my fuel bowl assembly recently and had some pictures handy showing the little screw and groove. This is the old damaged one.

When I bleed the lines, I start with the bleed screws at the fuel bowl and work my way downstream to the injectors. Sounds like you've got it bled, though.

Good luck getting it started.

I fixed it!!!

I had the valve clearances too tight.

there is so little valve spring pressure that i was opening the valve while setting it.

thanks for all the suggestions.

Good job!

It's usually something simple like that, isn't it?
