Here is a pic. 0226191436b.jpg
Ok reverse the lengths of the pipes I listed. The solid steel one is the longer one. The lead filled one is the blue one.

When I bought the first YM186D - the one without a loader - I found four front bumper weights that were intended for a much larger tractor. Seller didn't know what they fit so they were cheap. I added a chunk of 4x6 wood with metal angle iron (to resist wear) to fill in the gap and match the height of my much smaller front bumper. In the second photo I also added a chunk of railroad rail- my second anvil - to increase the weight a little more.

In my orchard I need the tightest turning radius possible to avoid the trees so this narrow ballast worked better for me.

Photo 3 (A city friend wanted a 'country girl' photo for her Facebook :p). This shows weights off an exercise machine added in that front gap.

thanks... those look great... been looking for some around me but they seem so darn expensive, and I never knew which ones would actually fit

ones from John Deeres from the 80s and 90s will fit. The like 790, 850,855, 1050 all those family of tractors. They really are just green yanmars. But you probably wont find many of them and they will be expensive. If you can find a farm with junk laying around or you know the guy you might find some there. But they do cost a good bit when found at auction or to buy new.

I have done what California has tried to avoid with a narrow set up. While turning i have clipped a tree or caught the front of stuff sometimes. But only in turns as the tires are still wider than the pipes.

My front loaded down Bumper isn't all that much bigger or wider than the Org.. Loaded with lead also. I think we pressed in 3 boat anchors. 75 lbs. range is all it came to I believe. Been like this for 10yrs. and with a 5'FM. and 4'BH. I don't have any problems. Even to get the FM to lift my front I have to hit a large bump and have it lifted. And it sits right back down. With the BH. I don't recall having any problems with it. Dropping to a 4' was a good call for my needs. I don't mow much at all with it but A few times a Yr. A few wooded acres trails Etc.. It's Hefty which I call it the Beast. I've chuckled countless of times how it bust stuff up effortlessly.

I am sure they would skip over the bumper. Not sure that front little ledge would lick under anything if it's designed to. Also that's well over a dollar a pound. Three of those would cost you quite a bit of money. But your the one shopping for them, I have no idea what the going price may be though.

Yea I agree everything I find is stupid $ IMO, still pondering on what to do, if I should go with something like this or make a bumper or make a rock box of short.

A very big part of that cost is shipping. Since we all know there is no such thing as 'free shipping'- that cost has to be added to the sale price. I know it costs us $15 (and a friendly relationship with our mail carrier :) ) each to ship each one of those weights. It would still be over $1 per pound but there is no telling how much shipping was added along the way to increase the amount we pay for the weights.
