Thanks, that's why those replacement starters on ebay & amazon look different than OE. I will certainly check them out.

And as others mentioned in the older post, the newer technology really makes a big different and easy of starting at colder temps, it has plenty of the extra kick needed. We are only talking a mere 0.6kW difference, but that's all it takes. No more solenoids to deal with. Got to love that!

The newer starters aren't going to look like the OEM..They are probably the newer smaller high torque starters
