YM2610D Questions

Over the weekend I did the tree-push. I found that 4wd is the forward position. My diff-lock also works. Thanks for all of your help. I have to agree with reedi, my 2610D is one of the nicest tractors around!! I'm very happy with it. After a 50 year old 8N it is a relevation. Enjoy, MIKE

I bought a 2610d in March of this year and love it so far. My temp light is not working either. I guess I should get it fixed. I haven't really worked it too much. Just using the tiller and pulling a 6' finish mower. My tire sizes are 11.2x24 on the rear and I'm not sure about the fronts. The rim size is 16. The rice tires really grip good but can tear up your yard. I was thinking about pricing some r-4's for this tractor. Does anyone know of a good source/manufacturer of r-4's for these size rims?

On a 186 the temp light comes on when the starter is on and also when a branch reaches up and knocks the fan belt off. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Well, I checked my front tire size this evening. It is 7-16. I have 11.2 x24 on the rear.According to my Japanese parts list I think this is the correct size tires. I remember reading in the old yahoo club about changing tire ratios and 4x4. Is it worth rehashing it here? It is still somewhat confusing to me. So, if I do change tires I would want to get the correct sizes and not harm my running gear.??? Any thoughts on this subject are appreciated.

NO, if you do not operate the machine in hot temps outside and avoid 15W40 engine oil.
