I doubt you could build one for less than $300 unless you got the steel for free. Here is the breakdown on what I spent.
Steel $120
2-hole tines from Agri-Supply $138
G8 nuts/bolts mostly from McMaster-Carr $70
3pt and misc hardware $25
total is $353
I do not have plans or specs since I built it on the fly but I guess I could draw them up. I built it using a landpride unit as a guide but not exactly and I did make it extremely heavy duty. I beat the crap out of it this past summer and was very pleased with performance and quality of my construction. If I can get my son's digital camera I will get a few pics and start a new thread.
