I'm pretty content with what I have, and look at the rest of the machine for the long haul. To me, performance is a combination of parts, your only as strong as your weakest link...
I see some interesting threads coming up (be sure to post pics), about poor quality welds, porosity claims in castings.

Don't know how I missed this last post. I do agree, and I am content with what I have as well. The machine works real well, and I doubt that any extra power I got would help with ripping out trees.

However as I am still not to the 50hr service, what I plan on doing is when it goes in (and the dealer will do my 50) I will bring up the question to them. I am sure that if when they test it and it still comes up under the minimum spec they will correct it. If this happens to be all part of the tractor not even out of the break-in time then ok...no biggie.

However if for some reason I do change it myself I will document it here with photos as well.
