After I figured out the "two hands needed" on the one gallon can, I was thinking how in the heck are you supposed to do that with a full 5 gallon can LOL

I still haven't learned how to work my 5 gallon can properly (different type of release on the funnel apparently), but I'm fine with just taking the entire cap off and use a funnel.

The one gallon we figured out yesterday, no one could figure out my 5 gallon that I brought with me LOL

We need to keep idiot proofing everything because people kill themselves due to stupidity, and companies have to deal with lawsuits I guess.

I've used these for the past 40 years with no issues.

For what reason? It was proposed in 05' if I recall, and delayed several times. It's been 20 years. If you want to travel by commercial means you need it. If not, ya don't.

I think the need for a 'real' ID was the result of states giving drivers licenses to undocumented people. The result was the diminished value of a simple drivers license as true identification.
I had to get a real ID years ago and I'm glad I did. My wife did not and how she faces the same dilemma as many Americans.

Renewed my license last Sept. Needed birth certificate, SS card, Current DL, A utility bill with home address. Could have used a bank or CC statement also. Wife also had to take our marriage license plus above documents. My wife and I were prepared and had scheduled appointments online. In and out in 30-40 minutes. Telling people in room 3-4 hour wait if no appointment.

Never seen more than 2 people at the local DMV, and that had the girl behind the counter yelling for help. Mostly walk in and go right to the counter, only one in the place.

There are 110k people in our town. The DMV office is a nightmare. Lines out the door. I do everything I can on line or at the AAA club.

Less than 600 in town and maybe another 200 in parts of 4 counties near town. County seat has 1450 people and is the largest town. Total pop of county is less than 10k or 22k for the county I live in. Our county has an interstate up in the northern part.

Live in a small rural town of 13,000. The county I live in is 212,000 so DMV is always a struggle. Smart people make appts. online. Get lots of stares when you pop in and out in 30 minutes and they have been waiting 2 hours

True. 911 occurred, and the several instances after. It's initial purpose was to make it difficult for people with explosive underwear from boarding planes.

I do see Lou's concern, but with the devices most carry everyday we divulge more data than necessary for the REAL ID.

I have always had a valid passport since age 4 and now I also have passport card…

There comes a time when you just have to say no to California foolishness…

One clerk at a DMV office can say my issued Social Security Card is too old… really?

When I was born the hospital issued the birth certificate with a gold seal. That worked for drivers license and other requirements. After 9/11 no longer accepted. Had to get one from Ky vital statistics when I applied for my handgun carry permit

Most men the same situation got it all straightened out with military WWII draft…

I appreciate that feedback. Pricy, but I looked at them online and they seem very easy to us where one hand can operate the release mechanism and you can hold the can with the other hand.

See they also have 1 gallon cans available as well.

I see Lowes has them, but the other month when I went in to pick up a pressure washer, and I BS you not, 3 people who worked in the store "wondering the isles" couldn't tell me where to find a pressure washer LOL

Might be a while, but next time I need one, that will be the brand. Should of complained before I had to buy that 1 gallon tank

What dilemma is that? I still don't have one, but have never seen any good reason I should.

I travel more than average, and I do see people using their real-ID's on domestic flights, but I just use my TTN card or passport. Besides, most of my travel is international, so passport required either way.

More like 30 years...and I like it. Until we closed last year we had an honesty bucket for some stuff.
