You Know You Are Old When

Egg sandwich...
In a glass bowl about 5" diameter
2 eggs
1 pat of butter
1 dollop of real mayonnaise
pinch of salt & pepper
whisk it all until the lumps are gone
microwave for about 90 seconds or until the center is not runny.
put on toast with a slice of cheese.
mmm good.

Picked up a dozen eggs for $1.49 and a pound of Bob Evans sausage for $1.99 last week. I'll stay home.

Their pies and pastries are great, but WAY overpriced. The Risin' Roll a few miles east on US 20 has great pastries and pies too, but are more reasonable priced.
Occasionally, I'll go into Goshen and pick up a few pastries at Dutch Maid Bakery off Lincoln Ave. for breakfast.
And of course I'm sure you know that Martin's has pretty good pastries and pies, too. Headed in there this afternoon so I can get the Wednesday 10% senior discount.

Martin's on our side of town doesn't have many donuts, as they come from another store's bakery and get sold out really fast ever morning.

I've never been a big breakfast person either. It seems like no matter what I eat I'm still hungry an hour later.
So why not just eat lunch and be done with it?

Gotta feeling we're in the minority. Compare the number of restaurants that offer breakfast all day to the number that won't even let you order a non-breakfast item before 10:30.
For a while either McDonalds or BK offered a limited burger menu in the morning, but I don't think they do anymore.

Whammy Burger is really strict on when breakfast ends and you can order lunch items.
