( My FEL locks every lock on every door before it gets dark. Well, I'm outside still. Sometimes it's a project trying to get back in the house. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif )

Oops. Thinking too much about tractors and not enough about family I guess. (probably a bad thing since the day I wrote that was my 10th Anniversary).

FEL's are used to open doors (or knock down if you can't get under the lip of the door).

FIL's (Father-in-law's) are used to bolt the place down.

( Personally I think she closes the door because she wants to see me more often . . . or something like that /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif )

Bob, My garage door is "my" primary entrance due to boots, coats, mud... If Mrs Zoom closes the garage door while I'm still outside, I don't open until I consider why.
Time of day? (normally night)
How many of the guys were over?
How loud were we?
How loud was the stereo?
How many "beverages" did we have?
Etc.

Or, did she just close because she wanted to? (keep bugs, varmints, cold air out...).

Then... I figure out whether I fall into the "or something like that" category and prepare accordingly. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

You know you live in the country when two pickups and a tractor ahead of you stopped at the only stop light in town is considered a traffic snarl.

Whats a "Stop Light" ?

It is about 7 miles from my house to the nearest stoplight, probably only about 3 within 12 miles in any direction.....

You know you are in the country when the only two cars on the road ahead of you are stopped, pointed in opposite directions having a conversation and you join in.

When you are parked on the side of the road with car trouble and more than 50% of the cars stop to ask if you are alright and do you need help.

When you don't curse the drivers ahead of you for not using turn signals, because you know where they are going.

Has anybody mentioned that you know you live in the country when you drive through "town" late on Saturday night and there are three tractors parked at the local watering hole? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

...the local bank has the word "Farmers" in their name.

...you have to drive eight miles for fast food, and then all you have is a Dairy Queen.
