And it's closed for the winter !

I grew up in the BIG city (at least big enough where the Dairy Queen had indoor seating and stayed open all year round).

Out this way, almost all of the Dairy Queens have walk up windows, they close in November and reopen in March, and the only hot food they offer is a hot dog or a BBQ sandwich. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Quite an adjustment to have to make! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I'm reminded of the decades later sequel to 'The Last Picture Show' entitled 'Texasville' wherein the DQ seemed to be the favorite meeting place.

Your workbench is stained the color of your tractor from paint touch-up jobs.

You know you are in the country when there is a horse and buggy tied up at a lite pole at the local Walmart - and they left a trail for you to follow them home. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You know you live in the country when you have to slow down on the road and you yell "GET OUT OF THE ROAD YOU TURKEY", and they do without threatening you back. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Also (had a lot of county moments this weekend)
You know you live in the country when you see this (see attachment) and call 911.

Then, after driving a mile to talk to the owner, have to re-call 911 and tell them to disregard - country demolition. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
