good point! I have to respect him and his wife for that, even if I do think he was almost the worst possible president this country ever had.
He certainly does step up to the plate and back up his beliefs!

I do wish he wasn't such an exception, though.

Drudge site just had a story about an embarrassing photo of Chelsea being published in the current issue of People ragazine. Your theory doesn't hold because the media is controlled by large corporations concerned with their bottom line.

I checked the Media Research Center site on bias. They looked like they only have one side of the story to tell, so I did a Yahoo search on liberal conservative media bias. Lots of hits, thought you might like to read what Pat Buchanan said about the bias.




In the coming weeks, you'll be hearing a lot more about ``liberal media bias.'' The Media Research Center (MRC), a conservative media watchdog group, is embarking on $2.8 million campaign called ``Media Reality Check '96.''

The MRC's head, Brent Bozell III, claims that ``the blatant left-wing agenda'' of the media ``has made a mockery of the term `objective journalism.'' His organization plans to blitz

media outlets with faxes and newsletters to try to publicize their cause. If you spot a bumper sticker that reads, ``I Don't Believe The Liberal News Media,'' you'll know where it came from.

This is why I laugh when I here conservatives rail about ``liberal media bias.'' It is one of the deadest horses flogged by the Right. Even people like Pat Buchanan and William Kristol know that it's a myth.

``The truth is, I've gotten fairer, more comprehensive coverage of my ideas than I ever imagined I received,'' Buchanan told the Los Angeles Times back in March. He said his presidential campaign had ``gotten balanced coverage and broad coverage - all that we could have asked. For heaven sakes, we kid about the liberal media, but every Republican on earth does that.''

You are absolutely incorrect. When Bill and Al were in the White House, their kids were left alone. Few people ever heard of Al's daughters underage drinking arrest and even fewer knew of his son's problems with alcohol and drugs at his private school. It simply wasn't an issue with the press.


Which is how it should be. Beat the politician up all you want but leave his kids alone.

Here is a link that lists which newspapers in the USA endorsed Bush and or Gore. Lots of papers listed for both, site claims more papers endorsed Bush, but I didn't count them. Anyway you will not see a bias against Bush click the link and see for yourself.

The two people that I mentioned here have nothing to do with the office of President; but their stand in life were diametrically opposed to each other. One got great press coverage; yet, the other barely any, while the atrocity commited to them was very similar! I'll ask again, who was Jesse Dirkhising?? Bye now, and may God bless you!!
