All of my implements do a great job and it depends on what I need at the time.

Reminds me of our friends property in PA.

Good Afternoon LBrown,
Thanks ! Yep its mine but it doesnt look like that right now ! ;)

Hows it going Scott, Yes gotta love mowing the big fields with a good view.

Its coming down about 3-5 inches an hour. In the last 2 1/2hours we got 10 inches. Calling for 24-48inches by tomorrow afternoon.

Good Afternoon Eric,
Holy Cow I had no idea you guys were gettin hammered like that ! At least youve got the right equipment to handle it ! ;)

Keep up the good work ! :)

LOL... :D

My favorite 3-PT attachment is a 4ft King-Kutter XB boxblade. For less than the price of a top-N-tilt, it's modified to fit on the front of my PT, where attachments should be...

O.K. I'd have to say my 4' brush cutter mounted out front is my favorite implement because it destroys everything in its path!

3PT: Caroni Flail
FEL: Grapple
You like that grapple Island? :D I'm surprised you didn't tell us before. :D That is one impressive tool, and you sure know how to get some use from it.

I suffer from acute and chronic grapplophilia. A ring side seat to see toe to toe combat with Mother Nature versus diesel and steel. Love it.

After reading everyones replies, I'll modify mine a little. I don't have a loader on my small 35hp tractor, so all my implements are 3pt. My favorite for that is still my rear finish mower. It's just plain fun to operate and see the instant results. Good therapy too!!!!

My other tractor with the loader is a full sized 80hp construction loader backhoe. While the backhoe is by far the most useful and important tool that I have, it's not an implement, so I wont' count it as a favorite. I bought a rake grapple for it this past fall and while I only have a few dozen hours using it, I think it's the greatest thing ever invented!!!! The word fun doesn't even come close to what it's like to drive up to a pile of debris, a tree, stump or just about anything, and be able to pick it up effortlessly.

I really hate it that I didn't buy one earlier. The hours of time and the amount of pain that I could have saved is just about immeasurable.

Eddie

I don't know if it is really my favorite, but my shredder gets used more and makes more money than any of my other three point implements.

I love my FEL (though that was not the OP's question)

Moldboard plow..... I'd rather be flipping dirt than any other thing a tractor can offer.

Brush cutter. I mow the pastures 3 times a year just to knock down the weeds. Horses take care of the rest. No hurry, no pressure, no deadline. Just cruise around and enjoy the country.

I prefer the cultivator. Nothing looks quite so good on the farm as a freshly cultivated corn field.

Not counting the loader, I'd have to say brush hog.

I loved my finish mower when I had one. But I will have to say my ZTR blows the finish mower away. Not a fair comparison since a ZTR will only cut grass, but, boy can it do that. I find the ZTR handles thicker, taller grass than the finish mower ever could. Not to mention quite a bit faster.

My box blade with rippers. Great for rock harvesting, smoothing, grading, low impact dozing and balast. Very versitile implement.

Second for me would be tiller, don't have one now, but had one with my prior tractor. Nothing better at prepping ground for grass planting.

I have to say that my favorite implement is what ever keeps me from having to do the current task by hand. SO if I am putting up fence, it would be the PHD, moving dirt- the box blade although the FEL plays a larger roll in that also. If I am preparing a garden spot then it is the 8' disk followed by the cultivator for making the rows and keeping down the grass as the garden grows or my 6' shredder for mowing the pasture. So I would have to say that if any of them was to leave my possession for any reason, it would have to be replaced. Picking a favorite implement is as difficult as picking a favorite child, I dont think anyone would want to be without any of them.
