Mike I'm with you. I'de like to have a buck for every time my wife helped me with a project when I needed a second set of hands. It's nice when your wife is also your best friend too. Mine's a keeper!

French farmer's knife Laguiole in my right pocket - for last 12 years. Lot of different knifes before that one since I was 8 years old or so.

Grafting knife used to be my favorite for a very long time.

Rob you beat me to it. My CC is my best AND worse tool.
Great Robs think alike...hahaha
I bought one of those Harbor Freight watch case openers. It works great. I couldn't open one of my watches to change the battery...had no spanner wrench that adjusted to it and I didn't want to make one. $4.95

WD-40 and Duct tape.

If it moves, but shouldn't- Duct tape

If it doesn't move, but should- WD-40

Rutwad- I would add a pair of vice-grip pliers to the list. back when i was playing with dirt bikes you never left without wd-40, duct tape, vise grips and a spare spark plug!

today my favorite tool is a 50 plus year old Craftsman table saw- yes, it was my dad's. I can't count the times my mother said, "If you had all the wood Ernie cut with that saw...." Sure would be nice to have a nice new Unisaw with an accurate fence, but the old Craftsman will always have a place in my shop.

A good, sharp pocket knife. Handier than a pocket on a shirt.

The tractor. Its brute force trumps hand tools (which are also nice).

Today's project: I'm removing a flat tar and gravel roof. I shovelled the gravel into old buckets and garbage cans, then lifted them off the roof with the loader and carried them 200 ft.

That was hundreds of lbs handled effortlessly. I hate to think of carrying those buckets down the ladder and across the yard one by one. This is the best tool I ever bought.

I have to change my favorite tool selection. I just got an auto dimming welding helmet. How did I ever weld without this thing. It is now my favorite tool.
