Your thoughts on Brush Grubber products

I have a Brush Grubber with 6" capacity. It is heavy. Tiring to open the jaws.

I prefer a 5/16" chain with a slip hook to choke grip trees. Lighter, simpler and always on my tractor.

A 3" diameter steel pipe with teeth cut into the end and a length of chain welded to the side works just as well and is very cheap. Loop the chain around the tree and through the pipe with the teeth touching the tree, hook your chain's grip hook up to the small chain you now have protruding from the end of the pipe and pull. It won't slip off.
