Great looking setup! That doesn't look like a homemade trailer at all, incredible work.

I think your confusing the side steps with Ford's "man step". ;) :D

The "Man Step" is just a great idea. Ford and some of the imports have them on both the front edges of the bed and at the back bumper area.

Make fun of them if you want but they are a great idea. Yesterday alone I was in and out of the bed of my truck about 100 times moving stuff around at the marina. It wears you out hopping in and out of a bed that sits a good 4' off the ground.

I agree. GM got caught with their pants down (engineers asleep, incompetent or MIA) when it comes to the tailgate step. I'm no longer 18 years old and I think it's a great idea. Rather than keep up and stay competitive, GM opted to make a really lame attempt to discredit the great idea. Weak. No wonder GM is bankrupt and continuing to drop while Ford is doing well.

First time towing with the Armada. It is equipped with the big tow package. That includes air bag auto-leveling, lower gear ratio, and heavy duty transmission cooler with guage. This is one powerful truck and tows much better than the 2005 F-150 I had. I really forgot the chevelle was back there most of the time. I didn't forget about the Bobcat, on the way home I had on a Brown bushog which was adds atleast an additonal 1200lbs or so. With it hooked up it put me at pulling probably at close to 10,000 lbs: 3,900 tractor, 1500 for loader and grapple,1000 for water in tires, 1200 for bush hog, 2,500 for trailer. But it pulled it wonderfully, the power these big Nissans make is impressive, and the trans temp guage never moved.
Flame away

Oh, and I haven't taken the time to pull off that ghetto, fake vent thing the previous owner stuck on there.

To the picture nazis; these pics were taken before I had secured these loads properly.

I knew you would like the Nissan. The only ones who have something bad to say are the ones who never drove one. I am much like you going from a 2007 F-150 to the Titan and the Titan will flat stomp all over the Ford. I will say the Ford is probably a better daily drive and a little more refined but I buy trucks because they are trucks. If I want a good ride I will buy a Lexus.

I do miss my truck though. The Armada is nice, but my truck was reallly nice, it rode better than any truck I have ever had and was built like a tank. And I also miss that King Ranch interior (but not the upkeep). I wish I had never put the leveling kit and 305 BFG's on there when I was towing. But man it sure looked good.

You guys haven't got a clue. Look carefully, that is wind farm fuel.

They just charge you more and call it Wind Farm Fuel cause folks will pay extra to go green, a feel good factor, not a practical one. (Green thing is NOT a tractor comment.) Really it is the same thing as Sailboat Fuel just marketed to a different demographic. As a recreational sailor of many decades (lived on our sailboat for 9 years) I should have recognized the cargo but since swallowing the anchor and moving ashore we downsized out sailboat to a West Wight Potter 15 and we only buy our fuel in itsy bitsy quantities for so small a boat.

I love the look of that truck. What do you have in the back of that thing? Airbags? Or is it just hard as a brick? Tough looking truck
