Chevy Duramax 2500 HD 4WD and 14k Betterbuilt Equipment trailer

GIT ER DONE !!!!
Kneedeep,
How is that backhoe working on your Mahindra? Over here in Texas, your be ticketed for not having enough tiedowns. Each attachment needs at least one tiedown, for a total of 4 for a tractor/loader/backhoe.
hugs, Brandi

Not exactly a trailer, but.

There is a 99 ford 3 ton for sale near by me. I get potable water delivered to my house at $160 a month. I am considering buying this truck and hauling it myself. Cummins diesel, air brakes, flat deck!!! $7500

Here is my rig from last summer going to the farm in Kentucky from Michigan. 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 V10 4X4 Laramie and 2006 SureTrac Gooseneck. Not much for mileage but a great tow machine with the 4:10 limited slip rear and SuperSprings underneath.

What size is that trailer, seems like a great size for a fellow V10 owner :)

Here is mine. Porsche Cayenne "S" 4.6 V8 that will tow 7800 lbs. I easily tow this all alum enclosed trailer or my 16ft steel trailer with the BX 25 on it. I like the performance, safety and comfort of the Cayenne so much that I just ordered a V6 diesel version for my wife. Went ot the Cayenne as my wife did not want a big truck, we needed something to tow with and I wanted all wheel drive and lots of steel for safety. The current V8 gets 18mpg in town and 23-25 on the road at 65-75 (speed limits in Texas go up to 80MPH legally) Towing 5600lbs (the enclosed trailer with load) I get 12.5-13mpg at 70 MPH The diesel is rated at 26 in town and up to 35 on the highway, some have gotten better. Several reports I have read indicate people are getting up to 18+ towing an enclosed trailer like mine. Looking forward to the diesel and I will then get my "S" back from my wife.

That Cayenne is sharp! I can't imagine getting 18mpg towing....I cringe everytime I pass a pump with my big block GMC 3500...and I'm usually towing no more than your Cayenne's rated load.
Do you have stabilizer bars or sway control for the trailer?

Hauling a 10,000 lb excavator a buddy rented. Total of trailer and excavator is about 16,000, truck towed it really well but you could feel it back there. Oh and we were just about to unload it that's why no chains were present.

Here's my current business trailer that's hauled every day by a 1997 F Super Duty Powerstroke bucket truck. I say current trailer because I have a 7x18 with front & rear ramp doors on order. The current trailer will become our motorcycle hauler.
