The first load....no problem.....the second....little heavier than I was told. The Stroker was working that day, but did it well.

Take that heavy ole aluminum boat off of the trailer and you'll be just fine!!1 Those aluminum boats are deceptively heavier than they look!! ;)

No, I needed the boat for the aerodynamic airfoil effect on the dozer! Didn't seem to be working very well for the MPG on the trip though.....:confused:

not a recommended weight but your able to get away with alot when your doing ag stuff....my truck has the 496 with alli....it pulls it very well considering everything it's not a diesel but awesome for being a gas....it easily keeps up with traffic if towing less than 15K (not with the 24K in pic....I drive slow with real weight)...very pleased with it.

Nice to see another 8.1 owner here.:D

just got the trailer with much help from ya'll, thanks.

i must say that the ride up the ramps was a little scary . . . but going backward down them was a knuckle biter. it sure felt like i was going to flip end over end.
will take some getting use to. other than that i love the trailer.

Big Bri, how big is that trailer it looks heavy, whats the GVW? What does it weigh just curious?

tinman, its a 25' trailer 20' deck w/5' dove and has a gvw of 14k lbs. i don't know how much it weighs but it pulls real nice. i also own a 24' box trailer (tag) and have pulled many 20 to 25 ft tag flat beds in the past. pulling this goose home was so nice. at 70mph on the interstate (empty) there was no bouncing, or jarring felt like with bumper pull trailers. I think i'm going to be happy with this one. well if i can get over the pucker factor when backing off the trailer. i guess the way to do it is to push in the clutch and let it roll back on its own . . . and don't hit the breaks till you hit the bottom.

got a pretty good deal it think, . . .its a 2007 and i got it for 3k. has duel jacks, 3 ramps, led lights, and tool tray. breaks on both axles it's painted top and bottom w/ treated deck. its made by "liberty"

I've got the same setup as you. I found loading & unloading easiest in
low/1 or low/2 and let the tractor ease up or down the ramps, it's really smooth that way. Plus I keep the rops up, just in case.

Thought I'd pop up a pic of my tow rig in action today.

08 Dodge 2500 6.7 6spd, Hudson 6ton deckover
I use this to haul all the tractors, fits the Deere 5410 very well, and ended up tossing one more bale on this load for 13.

6spd manual, really its a 5spd, very rarely do I use first, mostly just to crawl across rough fields. That's one of the main reasons I got another dodge. Chevy doesn't offer a stick anymore.
