Your towing rigs and trailers

I hauled a MF150 and box scraper for a guy yesterday. The tractor hadn't been started in years so we used the winch to pull it and the scraper on the trailer. Went pretty smooth.

Picked up an 18ft + 2ft dovetail car hauler yesterday from a local N AL dealer. Loaded the BX for a test run to go get some fuel.

Nice trailer with plenty of room for your Kubota. And gas is cheap now.

Thanks man I got a very nice price. Wasn’t planning on a 20ft but it was too good to pass up. It’s only a 7k trailer but made with 4in C channel frame. This gives us wiggle room and extra space for other items.

Diesel is still about $2.40 here but gas is way down.

My main mover 1974 General tri axle. I haul my skidloaders, backhoes, and TD-9 bulldozers on it.

07 Sure-trac dump trailer that I use all of the time----kinda handy to have around, EXCEPT for the electric hyd unit on them are a joke! ---In the process of putting a real hydraulic pump and gas engine on mine.

I just bought that exact trailer. Don't know how I lived without one...

If you run 6 gauge to the truck battery through a forklift disconnect to the trailer battery the electric ones have way more power. 14 volts from the truck battery and alternator.

My trailer is too uninteresting to post, as it's just a single axle 5.5ラ10 landscape trailer, but I do like my truck. In 2015, I bought a brand new middle-of-the-road Silverado 1500, first time I ever bought a new vehicle after owning about 30 used ones. I had it for exactly one year, before I couldn't take it anymore and traded it in for a fancy 2016 3500 HD LTZ/Z71 Duramax. Every time I needed to haul something heavy, I regretted my 1500 (especially since I'd come off of an 04 2500), so I stepped back up. In this picture, I'm about to unload 2 tons of 2B stone into an area where I need to pour some concrete.

I'm sure I could get by with a half-ton but I had one for 7 years and wanted to run something that is a little more on the overkill side of things when I tow. Besides, we may end up with a 5th wheel camper at some point. This Ram 2500 has worked well for me for 3 years now.
