Your towing rigs and trailers

A couple of months ago I traded my 2017 F350 Platinum diesel. It had 24K miles on it and was paid for..I really thought I would keep it for another 10+ years. Then the glass roof leaked, was "fixed" and leaked some more. The smell was similar to mouse piss and it drove me nuts. I traded it in for a "used" 2021 F450 Limited. I really like the new rig. Tows a 12K trailer like its not even there

Load 5 of 5 hay big bales from Arlington WA tp Tonasket WA over North Cascades Pass and Loup Loup Pass (217 miles). Couldn't afford the diesel, 2015 6.2 gasser with an 18' car hauler. The 6 and 7% grades did slow me down a mite.

That's a good looking set-up MoMower! I hope it lasts long and suits all of your needs. I can only wish I had as nice a unit myself. Enjoy!!

Thanks, next to the tilt deck is a 10k dump trailer. This was the first tow with the Ford, coming from an ‘06 Chevy 2500, it was amazing!

Coming over the passes loaded it was 9.6. I didn't weigh it, but I was pushing 16,000 pounds. I loaded the hay at about 50 feet above sea level and the passes are sort of up and down, the first pass, Rainy Pass is 4800' then drops to 3800 and then climbs to Washington Pass at about 5500' drop to the Methow valley at 2000' and slowly descends to 1500 before climbing up Loup Loup Pass at 4000' and then descends again to the Okanogan river valley at 800'. Considering that I have had older mid 70s Chevys that would give me 11.5 empty on the flat at 55 mph. I wasn't disappointed at all.
