BTW, I'm very happy with the short trailer I have. It fits in the garage and my EGT is high enough with just one implement on the FEL. I'd have had to purchase a new more capable truck to haul any more.

Here was delivery of 1/2 of a train car to a local tourist RR a couple years ago.

I saw this in person back in 1980. The convoy was 2 miles long and had me blocked for 2 hours. I was looking for a picture and came across this video. Supposedly, the heaviest load ever hauled on a public road. The trailers had 24 axle lines with 16 wheels across on each axle line. Total weight with tractors and trailers was 3.5 million pounds. The moving cost was $15 million in 1980 dollars to move the 2 reactors. The plant was mothballed before completion and never operated.
