Slightly OT: I live in Fort Collins, CO not too far from where they make Walker mowers. These mowers are fantastic for mowing lots of residential lawns for a lawn service - I don't think I would use one on 4.5 acres if it was one big field. I'm presently in Brisbane, Australia for a couple of weeks. Just this evening I passed by a lawn service trailer full of Walker mowers!
Walkers start at $6k and go up to $12k or more. When I'm done with my Kubota BX for backyard landscape remodelling duties I may sell it and get a Walker. The problem is the BX is so darn useful I may not be able to part with it. I'm not real pleased with the cut of the lawn when it is done. A Walker, with its suspended almost floating front deck, leaves an immaculate smooth lawn behind it.
