2009 TYM T330
Hello, I have a 2009 TYM T330 with a LT300H F.E.L.that is cable operated. Have anyone ever switched this model over to a fender mounted hydraulic operated joystick like the one found on a LT353 or Mahindra ML 111? What parts would be needed and where can I find the parts list for a LT353 Loader ? Does the LT353 have a float function ? Thank you, Chuck S.

Fender mount joysticks still uses cables to the control valve, pretty much like your current setup, with just a few extra covers to hide the linkage and they just hide the valve under the floor board.

Darn, the LT353 picture sure looks like two solid steel lines...

Are you having issues with the cables on your setup? Try to spray some WD40 on the cables.

As seen in another thread https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/tym-tractors/180703-t330-loader-control-valve.html I have cleaned and lubed everything from the joystick to the control valves. The Joystick, cables and valves by themselves all move without effort. Hook them together and the joystick movement is a jerky/binding mess and especially, the dump function (which puts sideways pressure on the joystick plunger and binds). The bucket will not dump fully which is a pain when trying to clear the bucket of stuck soil. There is no float whatsoever. Heck, the bucket will at times flop like a wet noodle when trying to scoop up dirt from a pile.... The tractor only has 525hrs.

Since you're having so much troubles with that valve, you can replace the entire valve with a new one from Surplus Center or any other supplier and be good to go. It wouldn't have the cables as the joystick is mounted directly to the valve body.

A 10 GPM one is what you want. Anything bigger, will make feathering really difficult.

Finally, got the push needed to switch over to a new style valve without the cable setup. Called and talked to Surplus center and they had the following questions can anyone help ? Thank you

-Gear or piston hyd. pump ?
-open or closed system ? ( I would think closed)

It's a gear pump and a open center system with about 8 GPM. You'll also need the Power Beyond (PB) plug for the valve you're getting.

Thank you very much ! "You'll need the Power Beyond (PB) plug" would this be for the seventh line ? Surplus asked me, if the seventh line went to a manifold or back to the tank.

You'll have 7 lines. 4 are for the loader cylinders. The remaining 3 are Pressure, Power Beyond and Tank lines.

The Pressure line comes from the hydraulic pump and feeds the valve through the P port.

The Power beyond line, comes from PB port of the loader valve with the PB plug and will feed the rest of the circuit (remotes and 3 point hitch).

The Tank line comes from the T port of the loader valve and goes to the tank.
