    Oil & Fuel  Fuel Capacity

I filled the tank on my L3650 this weekend and starting with 1/4 tank, I was surprised to need only about 5 gallons to do the job. Does anybody know what the tank capacity is on this unit? I guess I expected something like 12 or 14 gallons and it appears more like 7. Steve

Looks like I joined the club.

Just cut a deal with the local dealer last night. He has a used L3650 GST with 1300 hours. Previous owner was a golf course that used it to spread fertilizer and pesticide. Tractor has a leaking "o" ring that the dealer will split the tractor and repair, along with anything else that shows up...

    Ford 5000 question.

I'm looking at a Ford 5000 that I can snag for $1,500.00. It needs an alternator/generator and the shift (control) cable for the selectoOspeed transmission. The owner mentioned having a difficult time finding the shift cable. Anybody had to go through this with one? Ideas? Steve

    Spark Plug?

I've never had this happen before. I was changing the plugs on the wife's car when the #3 plug disintegrated. The shoulder (nut portion) came off with a snap and is jammed in the socket. The insulator popped out in one piece (pic attached), and the bottom threaded sleeve is still jammed in the...

    Before I do something dumb

Before I do something dumb, I want some input from you guys. Every now and then I need a screw extractor or have to use a tap to rethread holes. Usually, the handle that comes with the tap set is too flimsy to hold the tap and the darn thing just turns. The good handle is a little better but not...

    Only in America?

Don't bet on it. Yahoo news has an article on the Chancellor of Germany, who is suing a German Newspaper for saying he "dyes his hair". Can you imagine! What a scandal! The voters will lose all respect for him if they find out he's been lying about his hair color. Must be a slow scandal day...

    Tractor Riding

Okay, this came in the email and its kind of fun. I had to modify it somewhat to keep in the tractor line, since it originally dealt with eating chocolate 1. Pick the number of times you want to ride your tractor per week (more than once, less than 10 times). 2. Multiply this number by 2. 3...

Muhammad I managed it somehow. Got a double post under "working in ponds". The only difference is the emoticon. The system seemed to hang when I tried to post, so I punched the button a second time and I got a message saying the post "already exists". When I got back to the list of recent...
