What have you done with/to your GC Series 2300, 2400, 1700 Tractor TODAY

I traded the 1725mb with 140 hours on it for a 2860e. I got it delivered from Bruno’s on Friday. I got the chance to use it yesterday for a couple hours. What a machine that thing is! I’m gonna use it more today once the rain dries up a bit. I got a grapple, higher lift capacity forks than the...

I over inflated a tire that is filled with Rim Guard in it.

I would just put the stem at 12 and pull the core. If it’s overfilled get it to where it needs to be. I’m not dicking around with a 700 pound tire unless I really have to.

    another hiccup to going solar?

I got my first electric bill the other day since solar. I ended up with a 91 dollar credit. 144kw I think it said but I’d have to look again. So hopefully I can pile up enough to cover the summer ac and the short winter days. That’s the plan anyway. I run the ac a lot in the summer. I sweat all...

Moving 2,000-pound feed tote on a pallet with Massey 1759

Put the forks as low as you can go inside the pallet and tilt back as far as you can then lift. It makes a really big difference. If picking something up off the ground on a pallet I’ll lift the front of the tractor off the ground a bit then tilt back as far as I can and it’ll pick up a lot more...

Can I turn over a Kubota diesel engine by hand?

not sure but I wouldn’t think so.
  14. S

How are actual sale prices vs MSRP currently for Kubotas (or other manufactures)?

Yeah the price jumps are insane. Honestly one of the biggest reasons I’m upgrading significantly now is because in a few years I’ll be priced outta the market.

    2850e vs 2860e

Glad to hear you love it. I ordered the 2860e with the backhoe, grapple and forks. Should be a bit better than my baby 1725mb. I need the lifting power of the loader. I may get the turbo just cuse why not I mean it’s not much more money in the grand scheme of things. I like how their engines are simple and it looks like I could just remove or smash out the dpf if I wanted to and the tractor would work just fine.
  81. S

    Tym vs Massey Ferguson

    Tym vs Massey Ferguson

Well I got the specs on the 2800e and m and to my surprise the e actually lifts more than the m. I suppose I’ll get used to the stupid treddle peddle and loader control up on the loader but I think I’d rather the extra lifting power. There’s a 5k difference in price between the two aswell. I...

    Tym vs Massey Ferguson

Well I went to the tym/ls dealer and they were closed. I still looked around a bit and they had some ls tractors mt 225e Mt 340 mt 357 and only a tym 3515h. Then I went to the Massey dealer. I didn’t realize the 1835e was so much smaller than the others. It wasn’t in the running cuse of the...

    Tym vs Massey Ferguson

I can’t badmouth my Massey at all I’ve really totally overworked it the entire time I’ve owned it. I’ve had it do the work of a much bigger machine. My only experience with agco personally has been good. I called to get my payoff and asked about the backhoe recall. The lady didn’t know the...

    Tym vs Massey Ferguson

Hey guys I have a Massey Ferguson 1725 mb and I was like 95% sure I was gonna upgrade to a 1835m with a woods bh75 on it. Then I kinda dove into tym and they look like a great value for the money. I do firewood in Ibc totes so I would love to be able to pick up a stacked full 275g version. I...

How do I remove rimguard beet juice?

I forgot to update this. I had a local tire shop do the mounting after I got all the juice out. I did Rv antifreeze. It says it’s animal safe. I got it 3 bucks a gallon I think it was. I ended up getting 9 gallons per tire. It went really easy. I used a adapter for the valve stem to a garden...
