small trees can be dangerous too.

I'm sure most people know this as I should have but I was pushing some small blown down trees out of my wood road using my tractor loader bucket that still had roots in the ground. Maybe four to five inches in diameter and a few feet off the ground, parallel to the ground. Well they got under...

    Kubota B2620 HST oil change

Anyone changed the HST oil on a Kubota B2620 lately? Coming up on 400 hours and the manual is not that clear. How many drain bolts and is there a screen to clean in there somewhere? Any info from somebody that has actually done it appreciated. I think mine is an '08 if that makes any difference.

    snow and a B2620

Don't design a house with two intersecting metal roofs on the north side of a house in snow country. Heavy stuff too.

    Block Heater question

Is it ok to have the block heater plugged in with the engine running? it was so cold here, 10 below zero, that even after plugging the block heater for over an hour the engine just wouldn't accept any fuel and would only idle with no power. Kubota B2620. Finally I plugged the block heater back...

    Changing HST fluid in B2620

B2620 owners that have serviced their own transmission - In addition to the spin on HST filter have you found a suction debris screen or magnetic plug that needs to be cleaned? Also how many drain plugs did you find? My manual is very unclear about all this with really lousy pictures too.

    B2620 Paid Off

Paid off my 2008 B2620 today. I got a QA, larger bucket and forks for the loader and it's been a hard working little tractor and I've been able to do a lot around here in the past 4 years including rock moving, landscaping, firewood logging, snowplowing and road grading. It ain't just a lawn mower.

Cleaning up this winter's blow downs

More homeowner work with the B2620 and forks. Had some White Pine come down this winter as usual. Loaded tires.

bringing in the wood with B2620

Finished stacking the wood for next winter today. The B2620 has been a great little tractor. That's the 5 foot "light" materials bucket on there. Four wheel drive backing up that steep little hill with that weight on the front and only a blade on the back.

Grading  First paying job with B2620

I did my first paying tractor job today since I have owned my little B2620 tractor. I tore down a shed and am building a new one for a customer about 2 miles away. The ground was uneven and messy and there were some rocks and footings left I could not move by hand. I tried to get a guy...

    Diesel fume headaches?

Anybody else get headaches from diesel fumes? Seems like almost every time I work with my tractor I wake up with a headache. I'm trying to figure out if it's the diesel fumes or what. I've taken to turning it off rather than letting it idle when I'm working on the ground near it for more than...

    truck out - tractor in

Well I decided to move my 08 tractor into the garage today and my 05 F150 out. At least for the summer. The tractor was sitting in the sun, under a tarp but still exposed bucket, cylinders and tires. I've seen what that has done to my friends L35 (dry rot tires and faded paint). Maybe it will...

    Rock digging

Got this prize out of the ground in a very tight spot. Don't think the loader would do to much more but if I could have gotten it to slide back further it would have helped. I'm pretty impressed with the 364 loader though, it did good.

    backsaver

Picked up my back savers today. Last summer I worked with the rocks on my property with just the bucket but pushing a 300 - 400 lb rock into the bucket is hard on you. For this one I didn't even get off the seat which is unusual for me. Picked it out of the pile with the forks. The forks are...

Snow  B2620 with 60" snow bucket

B2620 with QA and 60 inch "light materials" bucket. Works good with snow and faster than the 50 inch bucket which has become my "dirt" bucket.

    B2620 HST pedal sticks

My B2620 HST pedal is sticking just a little but it's a big pain because when I get off the seat to change the angle on my rear blade the engine stalls because the relay switch has not tripped and the tractor thinks it is still going forward with no operator even though it is not. I have...

dumb question about B hyd and trans filters

You guys with the B series (2x20) rigs - which side is the transmission filter and which is the hydraulic filter? I've done a search on it and I'm even more confused. If you sit on the seat is the transmission filter on your left and the hydraulic filter on your right? That's what I'm hoping...

    Chains  Front tire chains

Wondering what the consensus is on using front tire chains. I've got chains on the rear but notice the front wheels spinning sometimes especially when pushing a lot of snow backwards with my rear blade. (We get a lot of ice and wet snow here). Wondering if it could cause any damage using front...

    HST pedal switch adjustment

Ok so I figured out that my HST pedal switch is out of adjustment so that when I get off the tractor it stalls. I remember reading a thread on here about that and that's how I knew it was a problem once I checked out that the seat switch was working the relay. The problem now is adjusting it...

    more B2620 woods work

Got a couple of trees hung up back in the woods but was able to get to them and pull them down and out to my wood road. Sure makes me appreciate the small size of my tractor when trying to back between trees on a 12 degree slope. Whenever I want a larger tractor with a cab I try to remember...

    Slushbucket

Well I got a chance to try my new 60 inch "light materials" bucket on my B2620 with the wet snow we had here. Had to pick up some piles of the wet "white cement" that fell off my roof. Basically 6 to 8 inches of well rained on snow all piled up. I had the bucket pretty well heaped with that...

    30 hp 3 cylinder vs. 30-32 hp 4 cylinder?

Just curious - anybody know why Kubota puts a 30 hp 3 cylinder engine in the L2800 but goes to 4 cylinder in the B7800 or B3200? Seems kind of odd given some of the vibration complaints on the 4 cylinder. Inquiring minds want to know:)

    Amateur log skidding with B2620

Here's my homemade setup for getting some firewood off my lot. Length of chain bolted to the rear ballast carrier with skidding tongs that have a grab hook for the chain. Pick up the carrier and the log comes up. Hey, it's not professional but it works. The log on there is probably only a...

QA and 60 inch bucket for b2620

The 60 inch light materials bucket and QA is working out well for my b2620. Gives you more room for the light stuff. Hope it works good with snow. Now whee do I put my other bucket for the winter?

QA and LM bucket for b2620

Decided to follow ChuckinNH's example and got the QA for my B2620. Also got the Light materials bucket for moving snow, mulch, woodchips, firewood etc. Will use my 50 inch bucket for the heavy stuff, gravel, rocks, dirt. Saving up for the forks next! Ready to speed up my snow removal and...

    capacities of b-series loader buckets

Anybody know where the cubic foot capacities of the b-series loader buckets is? Specifically the 54 or 60 inch wide. I saw it somewhere but can't find it again. I'm thinking about getting a larger bucket for Lighter materials. Thanks for any info on that.

    changing HST fluid

Well I am going to change my HST fluid and filter on my B2620 this weekend at almost 100 hrs after reading the thread about the Kubota manual screwup telling you not to change it after 50hrs. I'm new to this - where is this screen everyone is talking about? I just see a filter and...

question about service interval on B2620

When I had my initial 50 hour service done on my b2620, the dealer mechanic said they recommend changing the engine oil and filter every 100 hrs and the other filters as well. The manual says my next engine oil and filter, HST filter change is at 200 hrs. Then at 400 hrs it gets everything...

question on kubota b3200 FEL buckets

I'm wondering what the light materials (LM)bucket on the Kubota b3200 is. Is it just an oversized bucket for the tractor, I know it is 60 inches. Is it lighter gauge steel or the same as the stock 54 inch? Does LM mean you can't pick up a 700 pound rock in it or fill it with wet gravel or heap...
