Am I not sure I am fully understanding this thread and I really want to since I have a 3720 Cab model coming soon with large R4 tires and a front-mounted blade. One of it's main purposes is to keep a long gravel driveway and parking area clear of snow. And sometimes Iowa can certainly get it's share of ice. Sorry for being so dense but this is my first tractor and, from this thread, I'm not sure which of the following statements are true:
1. Rear chains definitely won't work. Not enough fender clearance on the 3720 with the large R4 tires.
2. Maybe rear chains won't work, there might not be enough clearance. We don't know for sure.
3. Rear chains definitely will work if you get the smaller R4 tires.
4. If you invert the wheels, chains with the larger R4 tires will work because this will improve the fender clearance.
