I am in the market for a 75hp tractor. I've been comparing a Kioti RX7320 and a JD 5075e. Both have their pros and cons

JD 5075e

cons:

basic cab, no console mounted levellers, only 2 rear SCV, India made, no screens over rad, right door doesn't come with latch or handle, smaller tires, slower, cold blooded hard starting engine, lazy salesmen that won't price out a unit for me without seeing cash (gave me $1000/HP ball park pricing) had a quote for a demo 2017 5075e w/ h240 for $56,000 but it sold.

Pros:

Best looking hood design out there, lots of dealers local for parts, optional buddy seat, good resell value,

Kioti RX7320

Cons: Bevel Gear high clearance front axle, lower resell, a few crappy dealers, its orange, no buddy seat for my son, no front fender options

Pros: Really good dealer about 2 hours away, deluxe cab, higher pto HP, smoother tans, good pricing, up to 3 rear SCV, raise/lower 3pt from back, telescopic draft links and stabalizer links

I'd love the John Deere, but hard paying more for less. The Canadian dollar exchange rate and mark up just kills the E pricing on the JD

I’m a Deere guy but check on the buddy seat. I know you can get one in a 5085/5100 but didn’t think so on the others. I think kioti puts out a good product though and understand why people buy them. At the end of the day, it’s hard to get away from an established American company with a firm dealer network and history of resale values. Those Canadian prices are crazy high though. If I could make a suggestion it would be to check out the 5085. It has the 4cylinder and many changes for comfort. If your Pretty stuck on the 5075, the 18s have moved the controls to the console I believe. It’s easy to add the right hand door kit too. I have it and love it

The 5075e does have a buddy seat. Harder to find the part number. But found it while at the dealer yesterday and they said it would work. The 2018 3cyl smaller frame tractors don't have the console levers. That's in the 85/100 5e. They gave me a price on a 5085m, $90,000. The 5085e would still be around 80k. Larger cab, new OLED screen in cluster etc.

Yeah you can add the door handle and other stuff. But you're already paying 10-20k more than a Kioti and have to pay more to spec it out similar.

I bleed green, but the 5e isn't much of an American tractor. Built in India and sold there to compete with Mahindra.

The Kioti dealer I'm dealing with mentioned Kioti is building a HQ in Canada. So they will be shipping directly to Canada VS to USA then truck them up. Elimating multiple currency exchanging bringing up better pricing.

Introducing the New 5E 3-Cylinder Tractors - YouTube Here the new changes for 2018. The throttle has been moved to the console but it’s hard to tell what else has changed. The larger e are built in the us. Sounds like you are trying to talk yourself in to the Deere but like the kioti

Kioti<really> (few crappy dealers)But you state you have a really good dealer within 2 hours? Which way is it? I fully disagree with your STUPID comment.I own both Deere & Kioti products and have good luck with both.Your comment is pretty shallow. Just buy a john deere product and not ask for anyones opinion? Bleed green & don"t look back,LOL.It"s your $$ spent. Here is a little green to make you happy!! Added some Kubota and Kioti to.Laffin..

Simmer down there bud. I was simply stating a few Kioti dealers in my local area are not that good. Bad service and don't know the product.

I really like Kioti tractors. I'm actually in talks with the Canadian Western Terrioty manager about adding Kioti brand where I work. And the dealer I'm talking with is a great guy that stands behind the product.

My grief isn't about the brands, it's about the huge mark up Canadian John deere dealers add to the tractor. And if anything this post is favourable towards the RX7320

Blindly praising brands is a sure fire way to get less for more. No brand ever makes the best of every model.

No Coobie, I think you missed the point. My post clearly was leaning towards the Kioti.

If you own both Kioti and John deere and have good luck with them, why would you even care if a person is considering each one.

I was looking for input on each model by someone who owns either one. Not someone with a JD lawnmower
