When after the seat sensor froze I had to jump the sensor. A new seat is on order. Everything else seems to work fine.

So I made a make shift cab just to keep me out of the wind and blowing snow. The cab cost about $200. Still a bit of a work in progress. Planning on making lexan panels to fit inside the frame. Also plan on making pannels with screens so in the summer I will just switch out the lexan planners and install the insect screen pannels in the summer.

Your homemade cab is not pretty, but if its functional that is what counts. Blowing snow in your face or down your neck is never a fun time!

Even at not so cold 5 celcuis or 35 f, my new L2502 runs rought and smokes like crazy for about 3 minutes. There will be no mice or rats survive in my garage.

Anybody else have this trouble?
That smoke you are describing is normal for any non EPA tier controlled diesel in colder weather. Probably does same in warmer temperatures but lesser smoke. This what EPA is chasing on tier 5 motors absolutely no smoke on start up. I can imagine room where EPA has diesel motor on stand starting with oxygen analyzer sampling air for contamination. Like anyone runs combustible motor in confined area other than milk barn moving manure that is creating carbon footprint. We become to tied up with Microsystems we lose sight of big commercial creating far greater environmental impacts. Easy to pick on the little guy they cannot fight back but comply or abandon farming altogether. What say you neighbor farmer.
