Greetings...

A question as to the years listed...I'm assuming they are "years sold" so to speak, rather than "years manufactured", yes? My 336D has "283" stamped on the wheels and has powershift on the dash...(I KNEW there was a reason I figured it was an '84 roger_scotty!).

The US Yanmar models list comes from the Intertec Used Tractor Price Guide. I don't know where they got their data. I found the original post over at Yahoo and copied the text. They have reduced the size of the JPEGs so that the spec pages are there but I could not read them even when I switched the monitor to its largest size. Remember when using the rear wheel date stamp that the wheels were probable manufactured before the tractor. It is really just a rough guide but it can help you get in the ballpark.

I have not read where anyone suggested this. Try the following website TractorData.com This site has SPECS on 106 models manufactured by Yanmar.You may get the info you need here. Hopefully you will. Good luck, and Happy Tractoring.

I recently bought a YM180D. Does the YMxxx indicate a tractor built for the US market?? Does anyone know where I could run down the manuf. date of my tractor?? The seller said it was an '89 model, but I can't confirm it. It's a 4wd model with a 3 cyl. engine and all the markings are in English.

While I'm at it, does YMxxxx indicate a grey market unit??

And what about the YM260 & YM260D with the 2L20D engine ??? And what about the YM273 with the 2W90S engine ???

What countries were these exported to? US or EU or AU ???

Seems there are numbers in the YM 3-digit either missing or just silent about, but one can find them in image searches.
