B2920 Kubota
I Continue to Be Impressed With This Machine
Model Year: 2008

My B2920 has been worked very hard over the last four years without any issues. I have cleared more than an acre of dense forest, moving brush, skidding logs, and digging out stumps. I have also done quite a bit of excavation and trenching with the backhoe. It is not the most powerful machine, but for its size, it has enough to get the job done. I have never removed the fel but the backhoe takes about five minutes to remove. The 42" tiller has made preparing the garden a 30 minute job instead of all day. I wanted a small tractor so I could maneuver through the forest without cutting in large roads. The B2920 is small enough it fits on my existing 4 wheeler trails, and big enough to skid out large logs with minimal soil disturbance.

Pros: Easy to operate, easy to remove and attach backhoe.
Cons: Could use better lights for working in the dark.

Kubota 2920
Model Year: 2010

This is 4th compact tractor I have owned in last 30+ years. This by far the best, previous were Ford, John Deere, New Holland. The 3 speed range hydrostatic has big advantage over 2 speed. Very fast hydraulics. Service items, such as fuel and oil filters, transmission and hydraulic filters are tucked up out of the way, but easily accessible for service. I use the tractor for rototilling, skidding logs for firewood, snow plowing, loader work. very satisfied with it. - Happy owner in NH

Pros: 3 speed range hydrostatic, very good dealer support.
Cons: Cannot think of any.

Great 1st Tractor
Model Year: 2009

No problems so far only 50hr tough little tractor. Done dirt work & mowing with it, pulling up small shrubs & trees.

Pros: I like just about every thing so far.
Cons: I had a little trouble with hydraulic hook up for front end loader and I think that was my fault for not relieving pressure off and I wish there was a notch on leaver when you raise the belly deck mower up you could lock it in a notch and it would stay.

B2920
Model Year: 2012

I am very satisfied with my tractor. It mows the lawn evenly and the front end loader works great doing jobs around the yard. If I were to have any issues would be with the HST drive. I have a lot of trees in the yard so using the cruise control feature isn’t always a long term option so at the end of mowing the lawn I have a very sore right knee from driving. Other than that no issues, and the dealer is close by so any small problems have been corrected quickly

Pros: Mows the lawn professionally.
Cons: HST can be hard on the leg.

B2920 Kubota
Great Tractor...50 Hours of Tilling
Model Year: 2011

I am not one to post comments about purchases but I wanted to on this as my Kubota has performed flawlessly after a years worth of ownership. Granted, I don't put many hours on it but almost all 50 hours last year were tilling with a 48" reverse tine Woods Tiller which really is demanding of the tractor. Starts up perfectly, has plenty of power for the tiller. Would not hesitate at purchasing again.

Pros: Workhorse!
Cons: None to date.

B2920 Kubota
Last Kubota I Will Buy
Model Year: 2012

These machines have a totally inadequate cooling system especially when used with a mower deck. Kubota will not acknowledge any overheating problems as a warranty issue. Doesn't matter if they are kept perfectly clean or not, every overheating issue is just simply considered a user error.

Pros: Nice small size, 60" deck, low to ground.
Cons: Cooling system; Kubota.

B2920 Kubota
Small in Stature Big in Heart
Model Year: 2010

From day one have worked this little machine with no mercy, and it never let me down other than engine cut off switch playing up which was easily fixed with a little adjustment. 'Tis gutsy little tractor should be having hernia cream applied to rear end by now but still goes strong and never misses a beat. First year ripped hard compact clay for planting 200,000 trees (very slow going but got job done) you may ask why not use a bigger tractor. I selected this machine for size and ground clearance. Larger machines would be incapable of accessing place this little beast went. Also used to slash properties up to 10 acres. Can be done but a bit tiring on little machine.

Pros: Honest machine very basic but very capable.
Cons: No cons, by no fault of its own. Needs more weight, tire ballast loader, whatever you can chuck on it.

B2920 Kubota
B2920 Great Overall, Unstable on Hills
Model Year: 2009

This is my first time to own a tractor and was surprised in the instability when running side-to-side on a hill. When attempting to spread seed along the gentle slope of a small pond, I was surprised that there was so little stability. Other than that, it’s a great “compact” tractor -- performs well and handles lots of different jobs. I will add that the preventative maintenance is pretty straight forward and easy to do, even for someone like myself as a first-time tractor owner.

Pros: Build quality and ease-of-use design.
Cons: Less stable than expected on hills.

Tractor is still very new, but it is performing well so far. Balance of the machine is excellent with heavy loads in bucket, and FEL action is very responsive. Have HST model and 3 speed range gives plenty of versatility for heavy loads, medium speed for mowing, and high for road traveling. Engine is powerful and seems to be relatively easy on fuel. At this time the only concern is noisy hydrostatic, when the tractor approaches an inline, it seems to chatter a bit, it could be I need to throttle up a bit, or simple shift to lower gear. Time will tell.

Pros: Quick FEL hydraulics.
Cons: None so far.

B2920 Kubota
Kubota B2920: Small, But Powerful
Model Year: 2010

This is my 3rd Kubota tractor, I started out with a BX1500 then went to the BX 2320 and now the B2920. It's too big to mow my lawn (had to buy a mower), but it does everything else just great. I can't say enough about Kubota products except the price! I want to buy one more and last tractor before I retire a B3000 with a cab. If you want a great product that will exceed your expectations buy ANY Kubota.

Pros: It's a Kubota, great quality, no breakdowns in 9 years & 3 tractors!
Cons: Price, I don't like the PTO clutch, why is it on this machine??

Good Little Unit
Model Year: 2008

This has been a reliable and easy to operate tractor. It surprised me with its pulling power especially in 4WD. My wife uses the FEL for yard clean up around her flower beds. It handles a 54" Woods tiller with no problem. It also handles a 5' grader blade I use for a limestone road through our property. My 5 year old granddaughter named it Bill.

Pros: Easy to operate, reliable. enough power for our needs.
Cons: 3 point hitch seems to creep down at times.

B2920 Review
Model Year: 2010

I am a very light user (40 hours in two seasons) and this is my first tractor. I am very pleased with the product and the B2920 was the right model for me. My property in NW CT is heavily wooded with lots of ledge, hills, streams, etc. If you are considering the B series, it is totally worth it to get the extra power. I have had a number of occasions where my tractor isn't strong enough (e.g. lifting logs, moving large rocks). (It appears that Kubota is now offering 32 hp in the B series.) Also, be aware that if you have the backhoe and want to switch to the three point hitch, it is very cumbersome to make the change. In fact, due to a sticky bar where the bottom of the hitch bars attach to the tractor, I have to take off the tractor wheels to get the hitch bars on and off! The dealer said that this is not normal and they will fix this when I am in for service. My only other complaint is a very minor one. It would be nice if the loader came with a welded hook and a receiver for a hitch. I plan to install the former and already am using the latter that was bought from an after market company. E-mail me if you have questions.

Pros: Perceived build quality, parts availability, attachments.
Cons: Very difficult to attach three point hitch with backhoe subframe in place, already broke three point hitch bar using rear blade.

I've been 100% satisfied with this tractor. It's done everything I wanted and some things I didn't think it could do. I have the front end loader, back hoe, and mid mount mower. I also bought a wood max chipper with mechanical feed. I almost went for the 2620 but at the last minute decided it'd be worth a few extra dollars to go for the 29. I'm really glad I did. I haven't run out of power but sometimes running the chipper and cutting a good size branch or pulling a load up hill, I can tell it's using all 29hp. I use this tractor to trench. Dig up small stumps. Drag logs, lift logs onto a saw mill and trailer, cut grass, move gravel, move dirt, power the wood chipper. Its an incredibly powerful and useful machine in a small package. The L wouldn't fit in my garage and would have been another 4000 or more. Once I get my place cleaned up I'll be doing mostly mowing so the L would have been overkill even though I could probably use it right now. The only criticism I have is the linkage to the mmm. The 3pt hitch has to be on with a link attached to raise and lower the deck. There is also not a good way to retain the linkage when the deck or 3pt hitch is removed. I made a little bracket to hold the link when I pull off the 3pt and I leave the other end attached for the deck. It doesn't interfere with deck removal or attachment. I use the back hoe more than the 3 pt hitch right now and it'd be great if I could have full use of the deck without the 3pt attached or even with the back hoe on. But all in all I really couldn't be happier with the tractor overall.

Pros: Lots of power and ability in a small maneuverable package.
Cons: Can't have full use of mid mount mower without 3pt hitch attached.

The B 2920 has been super, only problem has been with the radiator. Norfolk Power will pick up today, and hopefully correct the problem.

Pros: Plenty of power, easy to operate.
Cons: Bad radiator.

Great machine, I had a bx1850 for 3 years and loved it but it was time to get into a bigger machine. I was thinking of the L series but the B series worked just fine. The tractor starts easy in the cold Minnesota weather and great for snow removal. Most of the hours are from front loader work and I don't have any complaints. You can work this tractor hard all day and it won't flinch.

Pros: Engine, 4 wheel drive, strong hydraulic system for the size, pto strength.
Cons: Haven't found any yet, this is my second Kubota and I didn't have any complaints with my first tractor.

Cons: I have nothing bad to say about this tractor.

New Kubota B2920 Tractor w/ Backhoe and Front Bucket
Model Year: 2011

This tractor is well built, very strong, and seems like it will be easy to do the required maintenance. The backhoe is strong and makes for easy planting of shrubs and trees.

Pros: Well-built/designed equipment.
Cons: None.

Anything Kubota
Model Year: 2010

I own and have owned many Kubota machines, all have serviced me with outstanding durability and reliability. Surprisingly they did drop the ball on their RTV I think they rushed it to market without doing the most important customer testing. I bought an 09 the issues I found were the silly knob you have to pull to release the pressure in the hydrostatic transmission before you could change gears and they did not allow for a second (remote) source for hydraulics. You have to disconnect the dump bed to utilize the hydraulics for a different use than dumping.

Pros: Unstoppable, unbelievably strong.
Cons: Not multi user friendly, training a must for young users.

Great tractor. We bought the MMM and backhoe. Both work great. The MMM does a much better job than a 3 pt. mower. The back hoe has been nice for digging tree holes and making large flower beds. Overall, we are very pleased. Could it be more powerful? Yes, but this is a nice mix between power and size. It is the proper set-up for our 3 acres.

Pros: Quality, size, and power mix. It is a little workhorse.
Cons: When in the down position, the rops can fall and hit someone (me) in the head.
